Our Founder and History In 1992 Michele Grodberg, M.D. opened the dermatology practice that became Contemporary & Cosmetic Dermatology, P.C. Dr. Grodberg provides comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatologic services and is widely known and respected for the high quality of her care. New York Magazine recognizes Dr. Grodberg as one of its Best Doctors in New York. Dr. Grodberg is a product of the renowned New York University Medical Center Dermatology Department. She did her medical internship at Harvard’s Beth Israel Hospital and received her medical degree from New York University Medical Center. Dr. Grodberg graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Swarthmore College. Formerly a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Medical Center, Dr. Grodberg is now on staff at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Grodberg believes strongly in a personal approach to patient care and has built her practice around the principle of treating each patient as a unique individual. Our Associated Doctors C&C Derm’s associated doctors are also experienced and caring dermatologists with superb credentials. Natasha Steinman, M.D., is an experienced dermatologist who graduated from Columbia University and from New York University Medical School, where she also did her internship. She completed her dermatology residency at Downstate Medical Center. Elsa Ordoukhanian, M.D. is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Brown University who received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and completed her internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She completed her dermatology residency at Stanford University Medical Center.
